What should be the validy of my an Indian passport for travel to the US ?
My mom has a 10 year vistor visa and I am planning to call her for 6 months to visit me . Her Indian passport expires after 4 months of her departure from the US ,is that an issue ?
The airlines dont have the updated information and i am reading all sort of different answers on online forums .

which says "Visitors traveling to the U.S. are required to be in possession of passports that are valid for six months beyond the period of their intended stay in the U.S. See list of countries exempt from the six month requirement." . The exempt list does have India listed but because i have read so many other things and also from the airlines that 6 months validity is required "Beyond the length of stay" i am totally confused .
