visa appt. rescheduled to next week because of lack of hdfc duplicate receipt
all,
My parents went for chennai consulate today for their appt and they checked the docs and asked for HDFC receipt duplicate which they did not carry.
Hence they were asked to come next week, this sounds very silly to me.
anyway what they need is original and that is there with them.
I do not know why they insist on this stuff so much? Already the original is there ..Visa fees of 4600 is deposited 4 months ago and now they create all this confusion. NO where I saw that they require duplicate as well.
Can they get in earlier if they get that duplicate somehow from our place?
any body had this kind of experience?
