  • B2 Visa after B1 Rejection

    Hi,

My B1 Visa got rejected with a reason that i did not demonstrate a strong case for the B1 Visa Category. I had all documents such has my home lease, including Client Letter. VO reasons were not convincing at all.

Anyway i now need to apply along with my wife for B2 Visa to Visit my brother. Would there be an impact because of my previous B1 Visa rejection. Please advise ASAP..

    Thanks

May be. Is there any major changes in your application from the previous visa rejection.

Visa officer evaluate each applicant individually but there is no other way, you have to reapply and try your luck.

Officially, non-immigrant visa denials are not prejudicial

        Thanks jnk,

I had a genuine case. I was having a Client Invite Letter and also to show the home ties. I have a the Lease document of my home country. VO mentioned that he does not see a situation for me to travel for the business meeting. I can very well attend the meeting over call or video conference. I was not convinced by VO reason for refusal.

Client prefers the employee to be in person for these quarterly business meeting, since some of the business talks ad review will not be feasible over call or video conference. And not all the attendees are comfortable to talk to some one over call to take some business decisions.

Can i reapply for B1 visa with proper explaination of the need in the Invite Letter. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
