U.S tourist visa

Hi There,

I have done my diploma in business management from new Zealand . and worked there for 3 years legally and came back in July 2013. After that i have been working with american express .
My wife is registered nurse in India but she is not working right now as she takes care of our 2 years old daughter.

All of us are applying for us tourist visa.

I need to know if they call at work place to check or call my bank to verify amount in my account.
