question abt the parents visitor visa

hai all,

My parents got 10 yrs visitor visa at chennai counslate.....before asking any question i first want to thank this website and everybody who helped me in giving proper advices.....

My question is......Is there any time limit that my parents should enter US for the initial time?

B'cos some of my friends r saying that after getting the visa no matter for how long my parents should enter US before the first 6 months of visa issuance for the initial time and then after that they can visit US whenever they want to......Is this correct ? Can anyone plss tell me what is the correct answer?

No such rule, then can enter any time.
Be prepared to answere if asked @ POE

No... not interview, but if officer asks any questions.. say visa is issed for 6 months and parents travels in 5th month, officer may ask "why you are travelling now, you have only 1 mnth visa validity"

Thanks for the response......can anyone tell me some sample questions that the officer may ask my parents at POE? They got 10 yrs visa....Should my parents show any documents again at POE ?

They may ask why u are here, where u going (place name), How many months u need etc.. They will be finger printed here also if its their first time entry.
