Urgent question: Modifying the VISA Application

I have an very urgent question. I think my parents used a travel agent to get an appointment and filled out the B2 VISA application.

I wanted to make some changes to the VISA application, now the travel agency is saying that modifying the application is not possiblem.

The Interview is only on June 5. is that true or are they lying... Can someone confirm.

No if the application is filled online you can modify them. You cannot modify question 1 to 14 others you can do. If I am not wrong you will be able to modify for the first 1 month since you received the appointment.

Yes it is an online application with a bar code but I want to change something other than the first 14 fields..

no, i have heard to modify online you have one month time... but u can still modify the document.... with your bar code and passport number login to vfs site and try to modify and see if it allows....
for clarification u can also mail vfs or consulate ppl

You can modify the all the fields except 1-14 upto two days before the interview date. I did it last week online just two days before the interview.

Can you please provide the details about the travel agent to book the appointment online. I am not getting any single appointment in Tamil language in Chennai for my parents for the past 2 months. I will try to get help from the travel agent.

I think travel agents takes appts at the VFS centers. In that case its not possible to edit the forms online.

The travel agents do take appointments at the VFS center so corrections are not possible.

I was not following this, it was done by my parents and only now I know.

Its too last I;ll have to just roll the dice and take my chances.

What is worse is that I just got my Citizenship today, si I have to get news Affaravit of support sayng I am a citizen...

You need to update your immigration status in the Affidavit of Support.

Yes, I got new Affidavit

After I got my citizenship I consulated some attorneys who said that I should be current as possible.

So I got new I134 notarized. Also I was able to update all the information on my case online.. which was quite good.

The interview is on June 5th and I am hoping for the best....
