Travelling to the US on B2 on a spontaneous trip

Hi there,

Myself and my girlfriend are going to visit the US in March. It's going to be an unplanned and spontaneous trip and therefore we would like not to book any hotels. In essence, we would just rent a car and drive around in the US and probably from the east to the west coast.

Now, I have an Indian passport but I live in Germany and I have been to the US once in 2016 for work for about 3 weeks and therefore I still have a valid B1/B2 visa.

I would like to find out if I can do this, or will I need to have a set itinerary along with confirmed bookings.

You can just do it. No advance booking with confirmed itinerary within the US are necessary.
