Rescheduling confirmed appointment

Hello
Currently I've a confirmed appointment and I attempted to re-schedule it and went through the re-schedule process by clicking the 'confirm re-schedule' option.
However I didn't choose the new date (since I didn't get a earlier date) and clicked the 'exit' button and exited out, since I decided to stay with the original appointment date.

Now my worries is, whether my above actions would've made any changes to my original appointment?? I've this doubt, since I clicked on the 'confirmed reschedule appointment' button, however as I mentioned it above, I didn't choose the new date.

I'm able to view the original appointment letter & 156/157 under the 'dowload details of a confirmed appointment', however I just to want to make sure !!

Could someone shed some light on this if you've come across this kind of situation.
