Husband on L1, can wife visit him on B2 for the first time ?

I am on a L1 visa, and just got married. My wife has a B1/B2 from her current organization which she will be quitting soon. We dont have enough time to get the marriage certificate and apply for L2 right now. I have 2 queries :

1. Can my wife accompany me to the US and reside with me using her B2 for a short duration ? Will there be any scrutiny as to why she is not getting L2 and instead using B2 ?
2. She probably will be quitting her current organization which issued B1/B2. Can she still use the B2 to travel to USA ?
3. Is it advisable to travel together with me on L1 and she on B2, or travel separately and arriave at USA on different times ?

It would be the best for her to get L2 visa and then travel to the US.

Her B1/B2 does not become invalid just because she leaves the organization.
