  • B2 visa for sister-in-law (bhabhi)

Below are a few details upfront, not all of them may be relevant but I still want to share information.

We want to apply for my wife's B2. She wants to visit USA for 2 weeks with me, and we both would like to visit my brother. This is the purely genuine, 100% truthful reason.

    - My brother is working in USA on H1B visa. He is married and his wife is also with him in USA.
    - I have a B1/B2 visa valid till 2020. I am a software engineer by profession and have been working in India for nearly 24 years. During this period, I was in US for around 5 years on H1 till 2004, so I do have old H1 stamps and entry-exit stamps on my passport.
    - My wife (my brother's sister-in-law) is a housewife (she is an ex-school teacher and the passport is ECNR). She has visited with me for tourism purposes to Singapore, Egypt, and Dubai in the last 2 years.
    - We do not have any kids.

I wanted some advice on key things my wife should keep in mind while applying for B2, and any suggestions from somebody who has a similar experience. I have already read that my wife would need to prove her ties to India, and bank statements, property papers, etc. would help.
