Can't reschedule appt. on VFS site

I am trying to reschedule (delay) my appt. on the VFS site but am unable to do so. It keeps telling me I cannot cancel/reschedule my appointment date if there are only 2 or 5 days left before the appt. But I have much more than that many days left. Has anyone experienced something like this before? What can I do to reschedule my appointment - is there an e-mail address or number to call? Please advise.

Reschedule to an earlier date

Is it possible to re-schedule interview appointment to an earlier date?
Original appt is in september-2006.

No, You cannot reschedule to an earlier date (Visit VFS site for more details)
If you need an earlier date, you need to cancel the current one and create new one but nobody recommends it
