B1 B2 Reapplication Process

Hi,

I have been rejected by B1/B2 Visa on 10th May 2018, I have to attend a seminar at Northwestern Kelloggs on 9th July 2018 to 15th July 2018. I have been issued a 214(B) and it says that, "if i wish to reapply i need to file a fresh application form", does this mean i need to fill out new DS 160 or the existing DS160 can be used for the reapplication. Please guide me on this aspect.

Yes you will need to do another DS-160 (if you saved your submissions from last time, you can upload them to populate the form to speed it up), and pay the fee again.

When you reapply, you need to make sure that your situation has changed. If your situation has not changed from the last time, then you're likely to be denied again. You need to address the reason why you were denied and change it before applying again, otherwise you're just wasting your money.
