    Hi

We (my spouse and I) want to apply for B1/B2 visa however I am not sure how to describe our reason to visit and how should we defend our self.
Following is the scenario due to which we are getting difficulties:

    - my spouse applied for K1 visa back in 2012 and got rejected (after that they broke up)
    - after that his parents who are permanent in USA(green card holder) in USA applied for his immigrant petition as single
    - then we got married in 2014
    - I moved to Canada same year on study
    - I applied for USA visitor visa (in 2015) got rejected
    - thereafter sponsored my spouse for open work permit and he landed in Canada in 2016
    - we got Canadian PR in 2017
    - My spouse applied for US B1 visa in Feb 2018, and got rejection

Now we both want to reapply however not sure how to prove ties. Even last time visa office didn't check his job letter, Canadian PR bank details nothing. He didn't even ask for it.
He needs visa bcoz of his job requirement . We do not want to settle in US as we have our jobs , house everything in Canada.

    Any help would be appreciated!!!!

    Thank You

What is the current status of your spouse's immigration petition - submitted by his parents?

One cannot have a immigrant & non-immigrant visas together. Since your husband's immigration petition is still open, he will be definitely denied for B2 - as he has already mentioned his intention to stay there longer (by his immigration petition).

You being a spouse of potential immigrant will also be treated as potential immigrant.
