Tourist visa of husband while my H1B extension is filed

I am on H1B visa in US. It's expiring in 1 month but my extension is filed. We want to get my husband's Tourist visa applied as my company will file for an H4 after my extension approval. I also have my sister and brother-in-law here in US. Should I send my husband a letter of invitation or should my brother-in-law send one because my extension is filed? Is it safe if I sponsor his visa or get it sponsored by my brother-in-law.

It is not a good idea for your husband to get B1/B2 visa now and come to the US, when he should get H4 visa to come and live with you in the US.
