I thank everyone to help all of us who are in need of help. I am a regular reader of this site and it has helped me a lot in preparing my in-laws visa documents.
My In-laws are going for interview at Mumbai consulate. I am currently on h1 and my wife on h4. She is currently studying (on h4 visa) and has applied for I-20 to convert herself into F1 visas. My Questions are:
1. When my in-laws are asked what does your daughter do ? what should be appropriate answer......should they tell them that she is planning to go to school OR just tell them that she is a house maker.
2. My in-laws can speak and understand English well. 7 on the scale of 1 to 10. should they still take translator
3. They have good amount of land and some properties in India also an have one son(married) one daughter(unmarried) in India. What can be an appropriate answer to the question - what assurance you will give us that you will come back to India.
All suggestions are welcomed. Please assist.
