Visa for my mom. All three kids in US.

HI All,

My mom has an appt next week in chennai. We are three kids and I am the youngest son. I am on H1 and I am sponsoring my mom's visa.

1. Both my elder sisters are married and they are also in us. The eldest sister holds a green card and the second sister holds a H1.

In the D156, we have mentioned that both son/daughter are in US. And the status as US LPR / H1. Is that fine?

2. If the VO asks mom about purpose of the visit. Is it okay if she says tourism and visiting my son?

Does she need to mention about visiting my sisters also?

Any other useful information or pointers to similar previous posts is greatly appreciated.

1. You have to mention the truth. Therefore, it is fine.
2. She can mention that if she is visiting your sisters too.

Both me and my brother are here in the US and my parents mentioned that the purpose of their trip is to visit their children's families and tourism. Even during the interview they mentioned the same. It is always better to cover all bases properly so that the VO understands the exact situation and will not have any doubts in their minds regarding the intent of the visit.

Right now in the D156 we have mentioned the purpose of the visit as 'Toursim and to visit son'.

Will it be better to keep it as 'Tourism and visit children' ? I am a little confused about this point.

Please let me know your opinion.

I would mention visit children and tourism (in that order rather than tourism and visit children)
