  • My Mother got Visa

I am happy to inform that my mother got 10 years multiple visa.

Took appointment on one passport later realized that there is a spelling mistake in Lastname then contacted passport office they issued new passport (with new passport number).
Apart from original 156 form we prepared another 156 with latest passport details (All the changes from original 156 form has been marked with RED color). At the entrance they didn't raise any issue though.

Mother attended for visa on AUG 24th (Telugu language)
    Mother is widow

    Here are the details:
    1. Who is staying in America?
    2. When is your son got married?
    3. Does your son have kids?
    4. From how long your son is staying in USA?
    5. Is he Green Card Holder?
    6. How many children do you have?
    7. Who is staying with you?
    8. How long you want to visit?

After those questions officer asked for Sponsor documents, Officer verified those documents and granted visa.

I prepared 2 sets of documents (Visitor file, Sponsor file).

Thanks to immihelp team and everyone posting here.

    Thanks

I think form 156 will be locked once submitted and can't be modified especially Passport# and name details. I would like to know how could u able to modify the 156 form details.

    thanks

We didn't change original 156. My mother took two I-156 forms (One original,
2nd one hand written and new changes are marked with red color).
