Urgent - wrong "passport - date of issue"

Hello,

I took an appointment (feb 2007) for my parents. I was just checking the application forms and realized, I by mistake selected wrong year for the "date of issuance". I tried to modify but it doesnot allow me to modify passport details. Is there a way how I can correct the details. Will this be a problem? Will be great if any one can advice me!

Incorrect - DS:156 - Q4 - effect "visa decision"?

Will this mistake (in DS-156 - Q:No. 4 which cannot be modified online) effect the decision of approving/denying visa? I mean will it be a negative effect and hinder the Visa officer in approving the visa?
