Emergency Please Help!

Hello,

I am not able to book my mom's visa appointment ..initially I had booked it for april and we were unable to change it curent date when they are available. The VFS office people said that we need to take a new reciept number paying another RS 5100/- which we did . They later said..we cannot book appointment upto 90 hrs.. until the recipt gets activated. WE see 15 days available dates for novemeber.. I am pregnant ,.. my heart is so broken.. i cant book appointment now. and have to wait

When i did try.. i went to create new application again and when i entered all the new information .. at the end it said... please check the issue date of fee reciept. I am so confused.. Can i atleast save this application? am i doing right? what is that i a m doing wrong??

Please advise.. your help is greatly appreciated!!

it takes minimum 2 days for the receipt to be activated. U won't be able to save/do anything with the forms without entering ur receipt number.

I see! Initially they had booked the dates through VFS office, this left us with no option of changing the dates ourselves online... everytime my dad had ti run to vfs office when he saw avaiable dates. Now since we took a fresh reciept.. can I book that online myself now? will it allow me to do it after 90 hrs. Please advise!

It it is a fresh receipt... yes you can book appointment online and change dates when available. (You need to for 2 days to get new receipt activated)
Please ask you dad to cancel older one

But , will it still not allow me to book online unless the the old appointment is cancelled. I did try to cancel the old apointment.. it still shows that its been booked for april 2nd.. it dint lemme cancel.. says contact customer service. Therefore my dad only has to go to the VFS office himself and cancel appointment? only then I will be able to book online? or will it let me cancel here online after the reciept is activated. Please advise!

I am not sure how the VFS system works for appointments made at VFS centers.
Looks it needs to be cancelled at the VFS center
