A few questions on rescheduling a visa appointment

I have a few questions on changing a visa appointment.
1. I currently have a group appointment for my in-laws and parents. And due to a specific reason I need to have my mom come over here sooner if she can. So I want to try preponing her appointment. The complication is that her appointment was canceled once before.

Now my question is if I cancel the group appointment, would that be considered as 2nd cancelation of on my mom's HDFC receipt? The first applicant on this group appointment is one of my in-laws.

2. Please let me know if you anyway of preponing my mom's appointment
