  • Me working for Indian company - Parents Visa

    Hi guys,

My Parents attended for Visitors Visa in May and was rejected. Only two questions asked.

1)How many children do you have: Three (One boy and two girls)
2)What do they do? (Boy (myself)- working in US and two girls - both married and living in India)

    Rejected. :-(

My Parents applied for Visa again.

I work for an Indian company (Tata Consultancy Services) and am on deputation at client site in USA on L1 visa.

My question: 'Can my parents tell the Visa officer doing the interview that I work for an Indian company and so I myslef will not stay back in US and will be going back to india in an year'

so that the Visa officer will not consider them as 'Potential immigrants'

Please let me know if they mention that I myself am not going to stay back after one year. Will that be a problem or Will it help mentioning the same.

Thanks for any help that can be extended.

    Thanks!!!

I don't think this matters whether you are planning to go back after 1 year or not.

There are thousands of other children who are staying in US and working for US company and their parents have got visitors visa.

Therefore, this is not the only factor. There is no harm in they mentioning that. But I don't see much advantage either.
