  • MIL got visa

My mother-in-law got visa(2nd attempt) from kolkata consulate today.

Last Dec my In-Laws visa was rejected on 214(B). So this time I decided to apply MIL first and then will try for FIL.

Here are the questions being asked at the consulate

VO: Whom do you want to see in USA?
MIL: To see my elder daughter

VO: How many children you have
    MIL: 2 daughter

VO: What did your youngest live?
    MIL: She is in kolkata.

VO: What did your youngest daughter doing?
MIL: She is married and she is studing.

VO: What did your husband doing?
    MIL: He is retired.

VO: How much pension does he makes?
    MIL: Rs xxxxx

VO: So, you want to travel by yourself
    MIL: Yes

VO: How many children do you elder daughter have?
    MIL: 2

    VO: Are they twin?
    MIL: Yes, they are twin.

VO: For how long you want to go?
    MIL: 2-3 months max

VO: Well, go and visit your daughter and son-in-law. You will receive PP in 2-3 days. Have a nice trip

While taking the interview the VO was going through the entire 'Sponsor Folder' documents.

Still dont know for how long MIL got the visa. Will post the detail as soon as she gets the PP

    Thanks for this wonderful site.
