Please Help I have couple of questions regarding applying visitor visa.
1) I came here in 2002 on H4 (My wife was on H1). In 2005 I applied for status Change from H4 to H1 and I got approved and I am working on H1 from October 2005. I want to sponsor my Mother on Visitor visa. Is it possible the Chennai Consulate will reject my mother’s visitor visa because I changed my Status from H4 to H1 In USA.
I need to send the I-134 Affidavit of support to my mother. I am having couple of questions regarding filling of I-134 Form:
2) In I-134 form in Q1 Should I mention I am on H1 from October 2005 with my I-94 #
3) In I-134 form in Q2 Do I need to mention the period I am in USA when I Am In H4 or do I need to mention the date when I started working.
