Refused Visitors visa 3 times

I really need some advise on this, my mother was refused visitors visa 3 times so far in the past 15 months, we told the truth to the Visa officer, that all her 3 children are in the US, 2 daughters married and are on dependant visas and i am on L1. she has shown all the proof of her ties with India (house lands, fds bank bal etc)and she will be returning to India, but the officers are not convinced... problem is our dad is no more and all the 3 children are in the US and mom is a house wife. I am the youngest and unmarried and my mom is taking care of her aged mother-in-law(our grandmother) she has been mentioning this every time.

What should we do now.....

I am planning to visit India on a vacation, can my mom try again at that point and tell that her son is in India? and daughter are sponsoring the trip?

Well,I am sorry, there is really no point applying for the visitor visa. There is hardly a factor favoring her app. There was really no point applying so many times in the first place.

Well, if one of you returns to India permanently and she starts an occupation (small business , center etc.), she may have a chance. Otherwise, she has to wait till one of you becomes a citizen and gets her to US on an immigrant visa.

Thanks for the response, thats really disappointing to know that she will not be able to get a visa with the present situation...

Is there a time period thats required to show that shes been doing a business or running a center etc for so much time, will one or two months be sufficient?

I am in the same situation too, i am only child and in USA for long time and a GC holder when my mom went for the visa she was rejected too, my dad is not there either and she a is house wife. please let me know if your mom get succeed in getting her visa i will try my best for my mom too as i am planning to send her again in another 2-4 months. i wish you good luck

Your mother will get the Visa

I am sorry about your situation. Sometimes it is very difficult to proove the fact.

What you can do is

1) Engage your mother in some business.it could be even a small( taking tution). take Provide photos with children.

and /or

2) Tell your mother to join some profitable organisation

and

3) Provide family photos with your close relatives in india(eg grand mother)

You can deposit 3 or 4 lakhs in Fixed Deposits in your mother and show it as one of properties.

If your mother has land or house in her name , it can be shown as her property.



And you sponsor instead of your husband. because you are close to your mom than your husband.


Leave 6 months to 8 months gap before going for next interview.

In simple words, establish strong ties india before going to interview. and explain them before the officer.

Definitely Your Mom will get the visa.
