Accuracy of information on US Consulate website - Mumbai

Hi,

How accurate is the information provided on the US Consulate website in Mumbai, coz when I look for the Typical wait times for obtaining an interview, I see 9 days. when I go to the VFS website or write to them they say that there are no dates available at present in Mumbai Consulate. Does anyone know if information on wait times is accurate?

Whatever you see on the VFS web site for appointments is what matters because that is where you get your appointment. If you don't see appointment there, you can't take the appointment, no matter who says what.
