    Hello All!
    I was scheduling an appointment for Mumbai Consular today, but on the page where we have to enter the barcode number i got an error mentioning as follows.

    i) Please check date of issue of Fee Receipt.
    It is valid after 2 working days upto the 1 year from date of issue.
    ii) Are you entering details of the Fee Receipt issued in your name?
    ......etc

    I had paid the fees in OCT 2006 and am scheduling the appointment the first time. And ofcourse entering the correct information including the 10 digit barcode number.

    Where i am going wrong?! could somebody help me please.

    Are you getting dates for Mumbai Consulate? Coz as per what I saw there are no dates available in Mumbai Consulate.

        Could you let me know if you are getting any dates...for Feb, March, april etc.

          Hi verify with vfs. usually this error message will be coming for the receipts which is not yet activated by HDFC bank. so you better contact vfs
