Parents got Visa yesterday in 2nd attempt

Hi

My parents got Visa in 2nd attempt yesterday.

Following questions were asked for them.

VO- why are you going to US?
Father-To visit my son and daughter-in-law and to visit some places in US.

VO-Any other children?
Father-Daughter married and settled in India.

VO-Are you retired?How much pension you are getting?
Father-Yes.Iam getting xxxRs.I own a house, some lands and I have ----Rs bank balance.My son bought a house in chennai.And Iam taking care that too.

VO-your son is a GC holder and he invested in India?
Father-Yes.He might come back to India after some time.

Meanwhile VO looked at my mother's passport and he asked to mom
that you went to Singapore.

Father - He showed his old passport and told that we went to singapore twice to visit my relatives.

VO-- your visa is granted and you will receive PassPort in 2 days.

hi regarding visitor visa affidavits

hi all!

My parents have an appointment in next month so what all afidavits do we have to take. how many affidavits do we have to make as both are applying for visitor visa.

are affidavits are mandatory. cover letter and return letters are those should be done on stamp papers or just letter is enough.
if affidavit is done how much stamp paper we have to take.
kindly advice .
