Attending visa interview 2ed time???

Hi,
My Father got Visa (1 year validity) last Year in Jan 2006 and is valid until Jan 2007. He is presently in USA. He arrived in USA Oct 2006 and his I-94 is valid till March 2007. My Father is leaving to India in March 2007.


Is it OK if my Father attend the visa interview again in April 2007?? Any problem because trying to go to USA within 1 month??

No. It is not ok. There are several cases reported that have been refused
visa even after they have made a timely return on the first visa. This happened because;

They stayed too long on their first visa (6 months is considered long)
and they applied soon after their return.

I strongly advise your dad should return this month and should apply again
only after 6-7 months for another visa.

If he stays 6 months and then applies soon after returning, he will be risking a denial because the officer may think your dad liked US and would like to stay there for ever.
