father's visa

my sister has just come for a 6 months rotation to US. i have been in US for past 4 years on H4 visa.



my father is applying for visa, based on the fact that my sister's company has given a letter stating they will take care of his travel , stay n medical expenses.
have u heard such a case.what all my dad needs to carry with him.My sister has shown him as dependent as he is retired.
