  • Sponsoring Parents visitor visa

    Hi!
I want to sponsor a visitor visa for my parents. I just became an American Citizen. I'm a housewife and our income comes from my husband. First question: Who should sponsor the visa: just my husband or both?

Second question? My parents had their visitor visa rejected 7 years ago. When they went to the interview back then, we were on an H Visa Status (H1 and H4). Having this rejection in the past, could be a problem to be denied again?

Thanks in advance for the response.

I know that. They don't want to come to live. They just want to visit me. We want their VISITOR visa.

You cannot sponsor as you have no income.
Write a joint letter of invitation then let your husband sponsor .

Being rejected once is not the end. If their situation has changed a lot in the last years that they can show binding ties to the country then they will be given visa.

there are links on this site for advice check www-immihelp.com visiot visa section.

You or your husband can write a cover letter stating that they only want a visitor visa to be able to visit you. You could but are not filing for their GC.
