  • Visitor Visa Vs Citizenship

On April 5th I am eligible to apply for citizenship but I wanted to send my parents for visitor visa in May. Will this have any impact on their visitor visa if they ask my parents a question that "Did your son apply for citizenship". Or Do you think it is better that I should wait still they go for visitor visa.

Just because you are eligible starting April 5th, do you have to actually apply for citizenship on the same day or same month? I mean your eligibility of citizenship is not going to be withdrawn if you decide to wait for a few months, right?

If the answer to both questions is "no", then to be on the safe side, just wait until your parents have their visas so that they don't have to lie or don't have to face any negative consequences for telling the truth.
