Visa under Admin Processing

Hi all,

How long does it generally take for a visa app on administrative hold to get cleared? I was shocked to see that the latest updates on the consulate website date back to 2005

I am asking this as my dad got a pink admin processing slip asking for more information.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It can take anytime between 2 weeks to 2 years
