    L1 visa expired. Sponsor parents?

    Hi... My husband has an expired L1. He is staying in US based on his I-94 validity. Can he sponsor his parents' visitor visa?

    This is what I have seen:
    "If visa has expired but has a renewed petition, a photocopy of the renewed petition. "

    He does not have a renewed petion. Can he still sponsor his parents?

    My L1 petition and visa has expired. I have a valid I94. Can I sponsor my parent's visa?

      Yes, you can. But more important is that your parents are able to show strong ties to their home country.
