10yrs visa when to visit us?

hi plz help me out very urgently.
my parents got luckily visa in 1st attempt itself.but i a much confused now with one dilemma.my question is:i sent a grauation letter from my univ and they mentioned in ds form the purpose of visit as graduation ceremony.
they got visa for 10yrs.right now they may not be able to attend my graduation in may.will this make a problem for them as they got 10yrs visa.
i heard that after getting visa they should visit us with in 2months otherwise the authorities of us will suspect ur purpose of visit. will this make problem in future visit????if they donot attend now what is the situation??
plz help me out its very urgent.waiting for responses.

It will not matter if they do not visit now. That is the purpose of giving a ten year visa; you can visit any time during the ten year period. There is no
2 month rule ; it is a misconception.

thanks.the visa is given for 10yrs.they didnot mention any multiple entry.can they visit like howmany times they want in these 10yrs or it is must like to mention multiple entry???

If you look at the visa carefully,
there is an M written below the heading ENTRIES. It stands for MULTIPLE.

what can they mention their purpose of visit at next time at the port of entry if they donot attend mygraduation now???becoz now the purpose of the trip was mentioned as graduation.they may not be able to attend now.

It does not matter as long as the purpose of the visit they say is compatible with a B1/B2 visa.(I mean, they should never say they have come to work). When they give you a 10 yr visa , it is assumed your purpose of visit can change over that long a period.

They can say, they have come to spend a few months with you.
