Letter to Consulate - urgent help

Dear all,

I am sending all the papers required to sonsor my mother-in-law today. The invitation letter is given by my wife (as suggested on the forum here). How about the letter to the consulate? Who should this letter be from, my wife or me? Please let me know. I will wait to receive your replies before sending the papers in.

Both letters should be sent by the sponsor i.e the individual whose papers are being sent (like visas docs, salary slips.......).
You could also put both your names if you wish.
