I am getting prepared on the documents for my parents visitor visa.
1) My father is retired since last November and he used to be a government official before. He has no income tax papers with him as he was not liable for tax since he being a state goverment official in revenue deptm his monthly salary was less(about 7000Rs). Please suggest what to say if he's asked for income tax papers during interview.
2)My father started getting his pension since last november 2006.Is it a must for him to carry his pension pass book for interview or is it sufficient if he can get a letter from his office saying that he is liable for YYYY pension amount and the pension order is being processed?
3) After retiring from government job my father works for a private firm(involved in land/sight business) where they dont issue an official pay slip and remuneration is paid by cash. In other words he has no proof of incorme. So does he need to say he is working when VO asks what does he currently does, for which there is no proof?
4) Most of the property papers are in regional language, do we need to translate it to english and get a copy? If we take translator in regional language, will he or can he explain to VO, or his duty is only to translate/interpret in regional language?
Thanks
