Parents got Visa -Delhi(Hindi) / First Attempt / Father Govt. Employee / Single Child
I would like to share this great news 
. Yesterday (June 12) at they got their Visa at Delhi. I'm not sure details but they got it!! My email address is [email protected]
About Application -
-----------------------
*My father is a teacher with UP Govt and mother a homemaker.
*I am the only child of my parents.
*The applied for the first time.
*They opted for Hindi translator. Fortunately the VO herself was able to speak Hindi.
Material and Preparation-
-----------------------------
*As per mentioned on the website. Nothing more or less
*My father got his property documents made by a CA and got leave certificate and permission to visit abroad from his organization.
* They even visited a person regularly helping people for Visa.
On the D day -
----------------------
*They were in queue @12:15 pm (IST). Their interview was scheduled @1:30 pm (IST).
*They were called to go to the VO ~2:45 pm (IST). Interview lasted for 5-7 minutes.
* VO was able to communicate in Hindi.
Questions -
-----------------
* What does your son do? >> Postdoc
* Where does he work on what Visa? >> at "__" academic inst.
* Where did he do his PhD from? >> Canadian U
* Was he receiving fellowship during his PhD? >> Yes
* Do you have leave certificate? >> Yes
* When do you want to go and how long? >> 2 months
* Show me property papers? >> Just took and glanced for just 2 secs
* "Aapko aapka visa mil passport ke saath jaayega, jaane ki taiyari kijiye" You'll get your visa, start packing your bags!!
That's it! No Q to my Mom.
Congrats to immihelp members and admin for all the help. Such a great site. I even found one member from my own University. Thanks a ton to him!! I'll buy a medical insurance from this site.
