Multiple Entry Visa Question

Hi,
My Parents got a 10 yr Multiple entry visa.. In DS156 we stated that they going to stay only for 3 months.. Now can they go for 6 months, Can they contrdict to what said in DS156.

Someone please help me out in this.

That's fine. They can say 6 months at the port of entry. No problem.
