NO EOS & AOS on I-94

Hi, my mother-in-law stays here on B1, he B-1 expires on July 6, so we traveled to Dominican and came back to get stamp for another 6 months. At the US border, iscis officer held her for 2 hours and they stamped her I-94 just for another 1 month and also on the back of her I-94 they wrote by hand NO EOS&AOS. Does anyone know what that suppose to mean? Anyone had similar experience? Please help what to do now!

NO EOS&AOS = No Extenstion of stay/Approval to stay
