  • Visiting the US

    Hello,
I am a single 28-year old female from India, working for 2 Medical Transcription Companies in India from home. My cousin who is single and a doctor in the US who has a US Citizenship willl be sponsoring me . I am the youngest in the family with my aged parents, father 76 and mother 67, and my 3 elder sisters are married. I want to visit the US for 1 month and visit my family out there and return to my parents. I do not have any properties of my own (but belongs to my parents) as a strong point but my companies will be permitting me leave for 1 month and I have got the latest income tax returns for the last 3 yrs and also have everything else required as per the website. As I am the youngest, I have the responsibility of taking care of my parents/house/properties (court cases) in the future hence have to come back to India.

Do you feel that I can be rejected cause I am single, young, working for a BPO company, etc?

    Please reply at the earliest

      Bank statement

      Dear Sir,

Can I print out the bank statement of my account through the website or is it that the bank has to provide me by mail the bank statement?

      Awaiting your reply

        Statements

U.S. Consulate does accept statements printed out from the on-line access through the web. These include bank, investments etc.

It's best if you have proper printed statements/documents from your financial institution.

If not possible or there's a shortage of time, print them on-line and get them attested.

Worst possible scenario, just save them on-line, e-mail to you your family where they can print locally. I have does this at least twice and had no problems with AMCON.

Remember, you are supposed to be honest and provide truthful documentation. If caught with fraudulent documentation the penalties will be severe. Hence they accept print outs without much problem.

        Good luck.
