No property to show in India wtd?

My husband is sponsoring for a visit to my parents. They have no property in India. My elder sister, bil, and my niece are there in India. Iam here in US. My father is retired and have very low bank balance (about 3lks). We help every month. My dad has an interview on 20th august in Chennai. What to do? Please advice.
also for the family ties does he have to take pics with my sister, bil and niece or some existing pics ok? he is planning to go to studio to take some pics. is it a good idea ?

Just show existing pictures. They are more effective than going to studio.
