Bank statement question

Hi

My bank(Bank of America) sent me a copy of the bank statement
with all the details like date opened, avg. balance etc.
But it is not on the original bank letter head. Basically they printed the letter
off of the computer and sent that to me. So it is looking like a copy.

Is that OK?? Does it have to be on the original bank letter head??

The bank letter I got is also from Bank of America and It looks like it's on a letterhead (logo of BOA is there on right corner) they charged $10 for this. I told them the reason that I want to sponsor my parents and brother. We got three original letters stating:

Dear Sir or Madam for sponsorship of (my fathers name)

I have two more.... 2nd in my mother's name and 3rd in my Brother's name. but they charged only $10 for the first one. She said " we apprciate your business that's why did not charge for other two.

Bank of America - different standards of service

BOA or Bank of America has a wide discrepancy of services in different branches. Many people have experienced a huge variance with BOA.

Your best bet is to re-approach the branch manager and explain what you require or just try another branch. In 9 out of 10 situations going to a different branch gets your things done.

Also, you can get your "copy" notarized and it will be acceptable.

Many people have submitted computer printouts which have been accepted, as long as you have all the information required.

Also, if you have the time and the energy you may want to complain to BOA's executive office of these issues which will do good for you in future and to others too.
