US visa photo

I am an Australian citizen intending to apply for a Nonimmigrant visa to visit the US as a tourist. I am aware that the DS-156 visa application lists the size of the photo to be attached as 50x50mm.
As I have just renewed my Australian passport I have a current passport photo as required by the Australian government that is 45x35mm.
Would this size photo be acceptable for the visa application or do I have
to get another photo taken?
