please help for visitor visa

My mom got a visitor visa from Mumbai this month few days ago. after she gets visa can she travel to USA any time. (i mean now she has changed plan and want to visit visa in next christmas in 2008) that will be one and a half year after getting visitor visa. can she do this please help me .......... as i don't want to consult any lawyer because they charge fees and i ain't got no money to see lawyer.
please help me.............

She can apply to enter the USA, while her visa is valid (unexpired).

It does not matter when the visa was issued, only when it expires.

Most people get a 10 year valid, B-1/B-2 visa.

So, she should be fine.
