Sponsor visa valid less than 6 months

My US visa expires in Feb. 2008. I would apply for I-94 extension.
I was planning to invite my mother for 1-2 months in Dec., is there high chance for rejection of her B2 visa as my visa expires in less than 6 months?
Please suggest.

What visa did you enter the US with? is the visa expiring or the I-94?

Now... there is no point in a visitor (B visa) inviting someone else to visit (another B visa) the country... I mean, what means do you have to provide support? or a place to stay?

Mine is L1 visa which expires in Feb, along with Petition and I-94. I am working here in US and my company will apply for extension by Jan or Feb.

You can invite her. I do not think that your visa per se, will affect her getting one... but do include a letter stating your intentions to continue on L-1 and renew it.
