    Murali / others please help...

My parents are travelling to US for first time on Sept23. My father intends to stay for about 2 weeks and his return date is booked after 2 weeks, while mother intends to stay for 6 months for my pregnancy and her return date is booked after 5 months. I am concerned as what should my parents be saying at the port of entry if they are asked for the duration that they intend to stay in US. Since i guess its mostly my father who would be asked this question assuming that both my parents are called together at the counter by the immigration officer( since they are travelling together). Please suggest on what would be the best answer?

I am considering that if asked then my father say as 6 months, and only if his return ticket is checked (which i beleive would normally not be asked or looked by the officer) then he could say that he would be post poning his return date to 6 months same as my mother. Would this be better?.

If my father sticks to tell the fact that he wants to stay for only 2 weeks but my mom wants to stay for 6 months i am concerned if in case they would stamp for less months to my mom or in case the officer doesnt get or hear ( that my mom intends to stay for 6 months) due to my father's accent or for some other reason. Please suggest...

please advise your parents not to mention about your pregnescy.. If any questions asked, let them tell for visiting you and son-in-law and tourism.
In fact, when I applied for my Visitor visa B2, I gave the reason as to attend the convocation of my son and some sight seeing. I mentioned 2 months only. But I was given 6 months stay at POE.
