I have a 10 year multiple entry B1/B2 visa and currently in the US. My current I 94 expires on dec 17th. I am seeking job here. I have important interviews to attend in january 2008. Can I do a one time trip to the carribeans for 15 days starting on dec 15 to jan 2 . As this will be lot more convinient than going to india for 15 days. Will my carrier remove my I 94 on departure and will I be issued a new I 94 on rentry -I need it for 1 month only in january
    Thanks

If that is the case, then return now to India and come back in January. You have better chances that spending 6 months in the US, leaving for 15 days and attempting to come back.

I would advise India, rather than another country, as it proves that you have ties to your home country.
