Spouse Tourist Visa help

Hi, I have a B1/B2 visa and I need to go to US for a month on business trip. I also want my wife to accompany me. She has a valid passport and we have a marriage certificate. Can she get a tourist visa for this duration? Also, is there a need for her to change the surname in her passport? I want to avoid the change in surname as it takes a month for normal processing.

She needs to apply for a visitor visa herself. But I believe it is going to take the normal processing time for your consulate and that is more than 1 month.

The name does not need to be changed, but it would be a good thing anyways.
