My husband was recently diagnosed with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (a seriuos dicease with heart and lung), with no cure, but only treatment. My husband is on H4 and he is home, his father was with us for six months. Now, we would like to bring my sister-in-law (husband's sister) to be with us, so that my husband can have a moral supprt. My sister-in-law is 38 yrs old and married , but does not any any kids and she doesn't work either. Her visa was rejected once. Now we want her to apply for the visa again. This time we would like to show a letter from the doctor, stating my husband's sickness. Also, my husband also would like to write a letter of invitation to my sister-in-law, insisting the need of her presence here. Do you think that the docto'r letter and my husband's medical condition would help in getting a visa for my sister-in-law. Please advice, and also show me sample letter, so that the consulate officer can sympathize our situtation. Thanks.

It may have a positive impact. But your sister-in-law still has to overcome the "she is an immigrant until she proves otherwise" condition.
If her visa was denied was, she must show that she has new or stronger ties to her home country. More than having a reason to go to the USA.

Sorry about your husband. You must also know that your sister-in-law can/should only spend 6 months a year in the US.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. Just state the truth and back it up with evidence (from the doctor, etc).
You do not need a sample letter, just write.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for individual advice regarding your own situation.
