HI All,
Help please,
My Mother-in lAws name was printed wrong in the passport. Her name is V.Venkata Lakshmi. The agent who prepared her passport wrote the name wrong, V.Lakshmi.
They didn't verify and now the name in the passport came as V.Lakshmi and she signed it as V.Venkata Lakshmi.
They realized after they received the passport. So went to The passport office to ask what they can do. They are telling to put a paper adv saying that her name is changed now very recently , that her actual name is Lakshmi and that now she changed it to Venkata Lakshmi
To me I am thinking that would give more problems because we cannot show them any proofs that her old name is Lakshmi right,
Please any suggestions what they can do.
